Reality Check

Today I discovered a very interesting piece that puts our size into perspective…or rather, God’s whole creation into perspective.

I do not know the creator’s reason behind the development of this unique way of viewing the different sizes of what is around us. But of all these unique pieces, both the largest and the smallest are part of God’s creation. I really, REALLY recommend checking out this perspective. Clicking on each piece will also cause a little bubble to pop up with information about it. I recommend doing that as well!

Go here to check out The Scale of the Universe.

“Then God said, ‘Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.’ God made the expanse, and separated the waters which were below the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so.”

Genesis 1:6-7

“But the Lord is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. At his wrath the earth quakes, And the nations cannot endure His indignation. Thus you shall say to them, ‘The gods that did not make the heavens and the earth will perish from the earth and from under the heavens.’ It is He who made the earth by His power, Who established the world by His wisdom; And by His understanding He has stretched out the heavens. When He utters His voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, And He causes the clouds to ascend from the end of the earth; He makes lightning for the rain, And brings out the wind from His storehouses. When He utters His voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, And He causes the clouds to ascend from the end of the earth; He makes lightning for the rain, And brings out the wind from His storehouses.”

Jeremiah 10:10-13

"And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us."
